About the neighbourhood

Riverdale is a pocket in Toronto well known for its colourful shopping districts and quaint Victorian style homes. Gerrard Square is the community’s mall where 70 stores and services offer everything from household necessities to groceries, to electronic services.

About the builder

Kaleido Corporation is passionate about helping its clients and investors make smart real estate investments that will add value to their portfolio. While they’ve dealt with huge projects in the past, they’ve since shifted their focus to pursue smaller projects, which they feel will allow them to better maximize profits for all of their investors.

They don’t directly develop on the land itself, rather acquire properties and then contract professionals to work as consultants, planners, architects, and builders to see the building process from the beginning through to completion. This is the same strategy employed by many large companies, they just do it on a smaller scale.

Another positive thing about focusing on smaller projects is that they can be completed at a much faster rate. When many of the soaring high-rise towers in the downtown core take 10 years to complete, smaller mid-rise projects can be completed in a fraction of that time.
